What is a Rage Room?
This first rage room was thought to have started in 2008 in Japan and this concept has spread quite fast across the world. Broken Pieces Rage Room is a thousand square foot entertainment place for people to come and take out their frustrations by destroying objects in a safe and controlled environment. Items can include but are not limited to – tv’s glassware printers etc. We supply all protective gear for each person before going to the rooms. We hope that when exiting the rooms that customers feel better than when they went in. Currently the Mental Health crisis in Saint John is no secret and we hope to help people during the wait period to see a professional. Our rooms will provide a fun and creative way for individuals or teams to build teamwork skills, making it excellent for all types of players.
About Broken Pieces
Broken Pieces Rage Room is a family owned company.
I, Julie Hebert (Owner/operator) have had ongoing mental health concerns over the years due to trauma causing PTSD, severe anxiety and depression. Even though I have had an amazing support system, I still felt alone and felt I had lost control of my emotions and didn’t know how to get the emotions out. I just really wanted to break or punch stuff but unfortunately anything that I broke at home had to be repurchased and the mess cleaned up. I saw videos about rage rooms online and thought …….WHY NOT? After personally going through a mental and physical transformation I started feeling better than ever and was motivated to inspire others so they have support as well. Along with my husband Ken, son Kolby and daughter Meaya, we made my dream a reality in the hopes of helping a lot of people
